Each Women's Retreat provides a unique opportunity for you to take precious time for yourself. From the moment you arrive, you will be invited to relax, let go, and be guided through a day of complete bliss and self care. All retreats include Yoga or Pilates, meditation, a walk in nature, a wellbeing workshop, and delicious, healthy homemade food.
My Women's Retreats are set in stunning locations across the North York Moors National Park. Venues are chosen for their beautiful energy, their natural setting and their breathtaking surroundings. Getting outdoors is a key aspect of the day and provides a wonderful opportunity to breath in the fresh air and move in nature.
Every aspect of the day is designed to nourish your mind and body. From the day's menu, which is designed and cooked by Nicola using her skills as a Nutrition Coach and passionate cook; to the wellbeing workshops carefully chosen to provide you with a new and enriching experience; through to the little 'touches' on the day designed to enliven your senses.
With exclusive use of Nunnington Hall's beautiful gardens, this day retreat will be a treat for the senses. Allow me to take you through the plan for this special day, designed to connect you to your natural surroundings...
Our morning will begin with tea and coffee, before we lay out our mats on the lawn for guided meditation, breathwork and Yoga. Take a mindful walk through the summer gardens before finding a spot in the shade to journal your thoughts. Upon your return to the main lawn, you will be led in a watercolour painting workshop by Ione Harrison, who will introduce you to painting techniques and teach you how to capture the beauty of your surroundings.
We will then break for a home-made summer picnic, on the lawn, beside the rose garden.
Once nourished, we will continue our painting and create our very own artworks to take home. Before we depart, we'll all come together to enjoy refreshments in the garden.

Set in the stunning grounds of Ampleforth Abbey, this day retreat has been designed to help you access a deeper level of relaxation and meditation. Allow me to take you through the plan for this special day...
Our morning will begin with tea and coffee, before we lay out our mats on the lawn (or in the beautiful hall overlooking the lawn) for guided meditation, breathwork and gentle Hatha Yoga.
Take a mindful walk through the abbey gardens and beyond, before finding a spot in the shade to journal your thoughts. Upon your return, enjoy a nourishing home-made summer picnic on the lawn (or inside the beautiful hall), with all food lovingly home-made by Nutrition Coach Nicola Wilkinson.
Once nourished, learn about mala meditation beads and create your very own mala, using semi precious stones before being shown how to meditate with your creation. Following our mala meditation, enjoy refreshments before you depart.

Wrap up warm and head out in to the fresh air of the North York moors for an energising walk with breathtaking views. Once nourished, learn how to do your own facial, using organic Tropic skincare products, tailored to your skin type, with guest expert Ruth Gordon. Once pampered, enjoy a restorative Yoga session with Nicola, before bathing in the sounds of the Gong, led by Edward Harpin, founder of The Tree.
Completely relaxed, take some time to chill out in your room, before coming back together for a warming home-made two-course dinner. Blissfully nourished, put on your bath robe and join friends for an evening of moon-lit activities. Perhaps you'll spend some time in the hot tub, before taking a sauna or a cold plunge! Finally, we'll all come together around the fire pit and take some time to enjoy a cup of home-made hot chocolate, under the light of the full moon (and maybe watch some fireworks in the distance!). Wonderfully relaxed and recharged, we'll get a soothing night's sleep before coming together once more for a healthy, nourishing breakfast.
